FENUGREEK SEED

But Galangal is more powerful than that. It appears to be effective in the treatment of ulcers (though some sources warn against this use) and be able to fight candida albicans. During the Middle Ages it had a reputation for heart complaints, which was long considered superstition.

Most importantly as an herb to consume during passover. Some cultures consider it a “cure all”. That is to say, they believe it treats a wide variety of complaints. In the 1st century AD, Dioscordides recommended a recipe containing a mixture of hyssop, figs, rue, honey, and water for treating multiple conditions. For example, pleurisy, asthma, tight-chestedness, respiratory congestion, and chronic coughs.
